Sicilian Spinach Dip
This low-fat, one-step dip may be served with your favourite cracker selection, as a nutritious snack or hors d'oeuvres.

Ingredients
1 pkg. Bartlett Farms frozen chopped spinach, thawed overnight in the refridgerator. 300 grams
1 tin Flaked white tuna. 133 grams
1 jar Marinated artichokes 170 ml
1 cup Light sour cream 250 ml
½ cup Low fat plain yogurt 125 ml
1 Fresh red pepper, diced 1
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce 5 ml
¼ tsp Ground black pepper 1 ml
¼ tsp Onion Powder 1 ml
A pinch of nutmeg
Salt to taste

Preparation
Step 1 Drain and squeeze the spinach to remove the excess liquid. The spinach may also be defrosted in a microwave oven. In a food processor fitted with a steel blade, combine the tuna, artichokes, sour cream, yogurt, red pepper, onion powder, pepper, Worcestershire sauce and nutmeg. Pulse until lightly chopped. Add drained spinach and process just to blend evenly, season the mixture with salt to taste. Chill 2-3 hours before serving.

Yield: 750 ml (3cups)
